Catkin May

Catkin May
Named after the Greek goddess Maia, Spring flowers emerge and crops sprout.

Catkin May

In this picture we see our two ladies taking a stroll through the heavily flowering Birch wood. One is carrying a Trugg full of Bluebells she has collected, and the other is leaning against a tree taking in the beautiful scenery.  Delightful use of Blackwork patterns and with the added flush of new green leaves, makes this picture light and elegant.
