X-Calibre Garden Sampler Blackwork samplers have been stitched for hundreds of years, both to enhance Tudor (and earlier) dresses and to show the stitcher's ability. This design is based on a traditional medieval garden.
X-Calibre Garden Sampler
Our model here has been made up into a cushion (pillow pad and backing fabric not included ) and is stitched in Greens and Gold filament, the pattern fill giving the various light and depths of colour.
The finished design looks lovely as a picture as well as a cushion.
